45 É«ÖÐÉ«,P schools are situated in the mountainous region of Chitral, 22 primary 11 middle 10 high, and 2 higher secondary.

Almost 8,000 students study in these schools, and are taught by more than 350 teaching staff.

The first É«ÖÐÉ«,P schools in Chitral were established in the 1980s. Since then, these schools have greatly contributed to enhancing the quality and access to education in the region, particularly in the remote, difficult-to-access areas.
